I complain all the time that nothing up North can compare to what I could get in the South. This week I re-found something better than anything uou can get in the South. Smales Pretzel bakery opened in 1906 and about 45 years later my dad would take me in for a fresh out of the oven hot soft pretzel. Saturday, some 60 years later we bought a dozen hot soft pretzels out of that same oven. Simply outstanding. Paula Deen should import some of these because even Paula could not do better than Smales
