I’ve been going to Gecko’s for over 20 years, when the only location was the original one up at The Landings. I’ve had many birthday parties and girl’s night out parties there as well as family meals. I’ve never been disappointed. The nachos are a meal in themselves. The sweet potato fries are the best, the staff is friendly, the bar is fun. I’ve been to just about every location at one time or another. I now usually go to the one down on Clark and Honore. I � �

MVP Catch Phrade
I ordered the Fusion Bowl because it was marked in big pink letters GF (gluten free). I can't have gluten and broke out in hives. I notified the manager who told me GF stands for gluten friendly. I told him that is not what the letters GF stand for in the world of people who can't eat gluten, plus what does gluten friendly even mean? He offered me a gift card, which was nice, but what I really want is to be able to trust the menu and not become ill. Now I know in the world of Geckos , the label GF is not to be trusted.

Here is the paragraph on our menu which we hoped would be helpful to our guests with special dietary restrictions or preferences: "GF = Gluten Friendly Items. This symbol denotes an item that can be made Gluten Friendly with simple substitutions but is prepared in an environment which allows glutens. Please ask your Server for more details."
