Wanted 2 months worth of rent paid via Zelle prior to ever sending a lease agreement. The “head of ops” straight up lied the entire process asked for over the top financial req. took a week to get back to us said they’d have an answer the Friday morning before move in(Monday) didn’t until 330pm then demanded 4.2k within 90 minutes after a week of no communication. Lied about the parking situation.
I lived in the Pine Grove building for 4 years and had a great experience living there! the building was well taken care of and they addressed any maintenance issues quickly!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LANDLORD!!! S&M was fantastic as a landlord and management company. If you're looking to move to lakeview, their oakdale apartments are fantastic. This landlord/property manager will take care of your needs whenever they come up. Hugo, the maintenance man, was awesome and took care of everything I needed when it came to maintenance. Horrible experience. Apartment at 1635 W Morse was filled with drain flies, cockroaches and bed bugs. Had to relocate after only 4 months of living there. This company only cares about $$ signs not resident safety. This building also has multiple property violations from there most recent inspection by the City of Chicago
