Came here after Making Strides walk. Got the brisket, pulled pork and chicken thigh combo. Brisket was dry and tasteless. Chicken was dry and tasteless. Pork was just ok. Cole slaw is over dressed and not chopped very well. Baked beans were good. Wife's yardbird sandwich was sloppy and gross. Sure, the sauces are tasty, but if you have to disguise poorly made BBQ with sauce , youre doing it wrong.
Overrated. Also they don’t allow service dogs on their patio, but the midtown location does.
All of their meats are wonderful, beef ribs are my favorite.
Disappointed with the smoked chicken. I’m not convinced this spent more than 20 minutes in a smoker. Looks and tastes like it was cooked in the oven. For a “famous” barbecue restaurant, I expect better. Not nearly as delicious as the first time I ate this a few years back. Sides were good. Portion of chicken was plenty and enough to have leftovers.
