With art deco furbishing, dim lighting and jazzy numbers, the bar hasa speakeasy atmosphere. The variety of cocktails found here include timeless classics mixed in with a number of innovative drinks, while the food includes light snacks from the bar and other delicacies brought in from the restaurant above. All in all, classy bar is a must visit.

I can't believe I've never been here before. The atmosphere was sophisticated, you could tell the bartenders are passionate about their jobs. There was zero attitude. So relaxing. I felt so at ease with myself. The drinks are on the pricey side, but worth every single penny. They have a huge assortment of cocktails and the flavor is sublime. I've never had such a perfect cocktail before. I spent about two hours there enjoying every second of it.
When I said New York had no good tiki bars this place made me eat my words. Supreme.
Not only are the atmosphere and cocktails always sublime... but the service went above and beyond last evening. Upon ordering the wrong cocktail...our cocktail waiter heard this and brought the correct cocktail quite to my surprise. The staff,drinks, and overall experience of Slowly Shirley make it one of NYCs best kept secrets. A gem of a cocktail bar. Thanks to all especially my knowledgeable and thoughtful cocktail waiter.
Excellent service and cocktails at The Hukilau! These folks know how to get down, and they know their stuff! Great job! Can't wait to make it to NYC!!
