Dr. Jenna is an absolute gem! She extracted my tooth recently and she did an amazing job! She used her ozone machine which made it heal incredibly fast and I didn’t even take any medicine at all!! Don’t forget, she’s a functional dentist with a heart of gold! And if it helps others, I’m 72!!! Love her and the entire staff!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
The hygienist’s work was good and she had no problem working with me. The office itself felt a bit cramped for a wheelchair. The dentist repeatedly expressed discomfort with me being in my wheelchair, which made me feel bad even though I had discussed it with staff in advance. I’ve done it this way for decades and others have always gone out of their way to accommodate without all the commentary. The dentists here are kind, professional, and very good at what they do. Unfortunately, the front staff is extremely combative. I called this morning because I noticed my account had been charged for my old insurance plan through Slootmaker. I canceled it a couple of months ago, but as it turns out, I had been transferred to the headquarters that run the plans for Slootmaker, rather than Slootmaker itself (which to be clear, I don't fault Slootmaker Family Dental for). Dr. Slootmaker and her team are so wonderful! I never thought I’d find a good dentist in all my years searching until I called them. I have high anxiety about dental visits and Dr. Slootmaker always listens to me and works gently, quickly, and efficiently to care for my teeth and gums. Her staff wiggles the schedule for emergencies and is always kind and helpful. And my dental hygienist is the best! Thoroughly getting all the stuff that makes my gums unhappy. I’m so grateful for them all!!
My husband and I have been patients of Dr Slootmaker for years. She and all the staff (love you Wendy) are the most genuine, kind, trusting, and skilled dental professionals around, I promise you won’t find a better experience anywhere else. The office is a calming, inviting space as well, so big bonus points there!! I’ve always been fearful & nervous when it comes to dental work, and I’m honestly excited about my appointments with them. BEST DENTIST EVER!!!!
