Well I really don't know what to say about my appointment with Dr Godfrey. My wait in the interview room was relatively short. When the doctor walked in she greeted me and sat down and began with the very basic questions about my finger injury as if she had not reviewed my case. Her demeanor was unengaged and trite and not broadcasting empathy to me. However I do realize that she is a very good surgeon recognized as one of the best and for those reasons I will engage her to treat me.
Make sure you don’t reschedule any appointments!. I missed one appt due to surgery complications and today needed to reschedule because I have a fever and cough. Both times called in at 8 am. This time because I had to reschedule they canceled all of my appointments that I had through April. Then I had to ask my surgeon to send a new physical therapy order. PT will only make my appointment week by week if there is an opening now instead of making the appointments ahead of time. I would’ve been happy to pay a $50-$75 fee for ... read more
Right Knee Total Knee Replacement 14 weeks ago (10/21/25) with Mark Mildren. Began PT immediately and had my last session today with Kisten Dede who was my primary PT (9 of 17 sessions). Kisten's experience, guidance, intelligence and coaching has been an invaluable asset in my recovery. I wouldn't be where I am today without her (and I hiked the Butte today for the first time since surgery). My experience was terrible with Trisha Lacey. Felt unheard and like I was an inconvenience just being there, while trying to find out what's going on with my arm. Even admitted something seemed unusual but didn't proceed to further investigate. For a specialist not impressed.
