Outstanding. Dr. Sloas does a very detailed examination of the eyes and takes his time to get your prescription correct. Great people skills. I would highly recommend him to someone that is looking for an eye examination.

Dr. Sloas is AMAZING. The best eye doctor we have ever used. My astigmatism is so shockingly awful that most eye doctors aren't sure what to do to make my vision clear. He immediately knew how to help, and did. When they put my new glasses on me the first time, I actually cried in the middle of the store because I hadn't ever experienced truly clear vision before. I honestly believe the bad reviews on here are fake. I visited Dr. Sloas after not seeing an Optometrist for many years. He made me feel very comfortable and also took the time to chat and answer all my questions. He also helped minimize any anxieties and concerns I had about my vision. He went above and beyond as a medical professional, while also being highly personable and knowledgeable. The entire experience could not have been more convenient for my busy schedule. Highly recommend.
I've had blurred vision reading objects up close for about 2 years now. Since I've never had an eye exam I was a bit hesitant to have them checked and kept putting off scheduling an appointment. I finally had my initial exam today. Dr. Sloas staff was prompt and professional during scheduling and patient intake. The office was clean and efficient. He explained the exam thoroughly and I felt relaxed, informed and confident I'd scheduled with the right Dr! Highly recommend his office!
Dr. Alias has been the only one that has correctly adjust prisms for my double vision. Been to Florida Eye Clinic and others who have simply used the prisms that were on my current glasses. He is the best
Had my first appointment with Dr. Sloas and couldn’t be happier. I require bifocals and have astigmatism, so I’m not easy to fit for contacts. I had all but given up on them but Dr. Sloas urged me to try and let him fit me. What a great result! Both my distance vision and up close are better than I ever achieved before with contacts and they are the most comfortable contacts I’ve ever worn. Dr Sloas did not seem to be interested on my concerns as a patient. As a first time contact user I have been feeling some discomfort and trying to find the correct prescription for my eyes. He was snappy and not professional in that he did not listen to me and made me feel ignored and like I was a hassle. All in all I will not be returning, very dissatisfied with his service.
