I HATE THIS PLACE! – Let me start by saying I so desperately want to like Sloane. The atmosphere, size, music, the bartenders, and the location are all great. Despite all of this I have been there twice and had horrible experiences both times. I usually write short reviews, but I feel like people need to know all of this. Night #1: I show up around 10:30pm with my female friend. Our friend was DJing and he put us on his guest list. Citysearch Editorial Review – Sloane, from the team that opened Vessel and Fluid, is a bar disguised as a club disguised as a bar, in the space formerly known as Duplex. In other words, a good place to go when you don’t really know what kind of night you want to have.
