I have attended three of Dr. Spillane's very informative talks on various cancers at the Copeland Education Center adjacent to the French Hospital. The Hearst Cancer Resource Center newsletter tells me much helpful information for cancer care activities. Second visit with Dr. Spillane and Kenya his assistance was even better than my first visit. The care has been adequate. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately my introduction to the infusion center was "here is the infusion center". No information on protocol, what they provide, what you can bring, how you can best support your health during treatment, whether or not someone can stay with you etc. I had to look it all up online. The nurses for my 6 sessions ranged from very good to very poor. My oncologist and his NP are always running behind. I am not very ill compared to most of the patients and I feel like they us... read more

Dr. Thomas Spillane is the best! He really cares about his patients. Highly recommended him!
