They outsourced, fired all the old nurses and now contract through AHN. They removed the capacity for walk in appointments, hindering student access to care; and have removed any quality or personal care aspects in lieu of affording their new contract. No more free/cost included medicines either, all fees. The health center used to be my favorite place to go to, but they are not as friendly or considerate of mental health/illness related sickness like they used to be, which disappoints me. Will not be returning again after the way I was treated on the phone this morning.
They are very nice and caring
If you're a SRU student, there's no reason not to go here. The nurses are awesome. Student workers are awesome. Never had a bad experience!
