Why did I wait so long to go in there? – I just recently opened a business up the street and have been going to all the eateries in the hood trying to find something at least half way editable. Not much luck until I walked into the Sling Shot. I don't know what took me so long, but oh baby. I instantly thought Thank God. Great food and beer with Not so great service – I recently moved down the street from Sling Shot. I absolutely love their food. I have never ordered anything bad from there. Their Macaroni and Cheese is the best I have ever had anywhere and their Chicken Club is delicious with pepper aioli. It is even good cold the next day. The micro brew selection on tap is unmatched. Great neighborhood bar! Fun neighborhood bar, with great atmosphere, fun vibe, cool art on the walls, delicious margaritas, and several beers on tap. Decently priced, slightly swanky feel with bar and booths in one room and pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, etc in another. Great place to go out for a drink!

looks great, spacious, all the staff has always been cool, most even remember your name and drink (totally makes the bar experience.) punk rock shows, good tunes in the juke, good prices, unique drinks, air hockey! big comfy booths, and a large bar, separate game room with pool, arcade, etc place rules - go there!

Haven't been there for a while – I brought friends that lived in the area (which I don't) originally trying to sell them on it but they were not that desperate to except super crappy service and attitude. They didn't need to. Plenty of places on the way home. I wanted to hang out here. Not possible.

Bartenders are going to ruin this place! – This could be a really cool bar. Cool building, cool area, cat walking around inside BUT - the bartenders are total A-holes! I will never set foot inside that place again because of how I, and many others, were treated. I'm surprised the place hasn't gone out of business yet. Note to the owner: Get your bartenders in check.

A good place! – I live in the neighborhood of the Slingshot. I went in on a Friday evening about 8 pm. There were about a dozen people there. The air was pretty clean and there are 2 smoke scrubbers and ceiling fans to keep the smoke at more than tolerable levels. The jukebox was full of punk and rock tunes that tell a lover of punk filled the playlists.
