Let me start by saying the food is good — I’d give it an 8/10. During my first visit, I placed an order and asked if I could upgrade the drink on my son’s kids’ meal to a milkshake. I was told no, even though the menu states that a milkshake is available for an upcharge. It was never explained that this upgrade only applies to certain meals, so I ended up paying for the milkshake separately. Clearer communication would have helped. We love slims but today’s visit was garbage. We came in and ordered on the kiosk to avoid the longer line. Waited 27 minutes for two of the simplest menu items available before we made the decision to request a refund. (We only get an hour for lunch break- with 15 minutes drive time) when we asked for a refund the cashier grabbed the manager and told the kitchen to “don’t start on 88 yet” indicating our order hadn’t even been made yet, then hit the refund on the kiosks didn’t even acknowledge the issues, didn’t apologize and... read more
