Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.

Charleston's treasure – I recently experienced eating at S.N.O.B. , as locals like to call it. I am not one to eat fish but I just have to say that the trigger fish is wonderful. My date ordered the fish and I had crab cakes. Although the crab cakes are good too, I would recommend the trigger fish to everyone.
Worth the splurge – I was a little put off by the cheeky name (S.N.O.B.), but this place really won me over. The decor was classic Old South with a heavy dose of hip, and the food was truly divine. The shrimp and grits appetizer nearly brought tears to my eyes. I recommend it for a special occasion. Not terribly romantic--seems like it would be more fun with a big group.
