We have used Slidell Vet for 10+ years & have always liked them. From annual visits, an ACL repair, dental cleanings, and then this evening....Our precious baby, Ladybug passed away. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care and compassion Dr. Greely and the staff showed us. Thank you!

I brought my dog there because she got really sick, and couldn't move. They told me she had worms. I know she didn't but, treated her anyways. 2 days later she started throwing up blood. I decided to bring her to pontratrain Veterinary Hospital, and they did the same blood work which revealed she had been poisoned. I would recommend anybody looking for a vet not to go to Slidell veterinary Hospital, and to bring their dog to Pontchartrain Veterinary Hospital. Boarding my 12 yr old lab at SVH. Staff so nice and caring.
Many thanks for Dr. Martina Mahly for walking me through the latest crisis with one of my children. Dazzle has advanced congestive heart failure. not only did she take the time to explain what was going on, she gave me excellent advice on how to get Dazzle to accept medicine. I have been bitten twice previously when trying to give him meds. With her tips i was able to get him to take 2 doses now. the standard hiding the pill has never worked. i see marked improvement. my baby now has a chance for a longer, better life.
