On January 6, I had an excellent televisit with my doctor. I use an iPhone and am blind. It was very easy to join the session. We discussed my sleep and reviewed my medication. My doctor ordered a new CPAP machine since I got my last machine in 2018. We scheduled a follow-up appointment to make sure my new CPAP is working properly. It was a very pleasant appointment.
I have idiopathic hypersomnia / narcolepsy after brain swelling from meningitis. Madison Vick is just the best - she fixed my sleep so well I'm like a new man! You think I'm joking, but once my sleep was restful my life flourished. I don't find myself dragging, I'm ready to face professional and personal challenges come what may. Your mileage may vary, but for me I feel like sleepiness is never a problem for me anymore!
My first appointment was a video appointment with Madison Vick. She truly cares about her patients, listens well, and is well informed. Sleep Medicine Consultants is a very good place to go if you are having trouble sleeping. I am treated for insomnia, restless leg, and sleep apnea.
My visit was virtual. It was a good experience. I believe the person speaking to me was very knowledgeable and showed extensive experience in the field of sleep and it's importance. Today, I went in person, to the Austin office of the Sleep Medicine Consultants. The visit was absolutely horrible. The woman that attended me was the worst. She was rude and very unprofessional. They were able to schedule me quickly and went to work right away to get my issues under control. I like the professional who I am working with. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they kept emailing and texting me to leave a review and I found that to be annoying.
