Clean hotel, nice people. Currently being remodeled.
Came in from Florida for my first Iron Bowl so naturally most things are sold out as well as prices hiked which is to be expected. But I paid over $500 a night to stay in a construction zone. They gave NO warning that we would be on the first floor literally right next to the construction as they remodeled. I woke up to drills and banging so loud every morning and that was not even the worst part! We got stuck with COLD showers which was miserable. We had just checked in when the fire alarm went off. Fun times. Not the fault of the hotel - some guest set it off. We always get an accessible room. This was the first time we asked for accessible and the bed was extremely low and very difficult to get up. I am sure that would be great for someone - but it was the first time we had seen a very low bed. Bigger problem was the shower had scalding hot water that could not be cooled.
