Hallway had a musky smell Our room had a musky smell Toilet paper holder fell off the wall. I mean fix it don't just maintain. Something was also wrong witht the pipes in our room. They were making a squealing noise every 5 to 10 minutes and made it very hard to sleep Hostess lady wasn't friendly at all. Her greeting was below average. The kind where you can tell that person hates their job That what my wife and I get for trying to save a few bucks on the price of a MOTEL....oh I mean an Inn & Suites....lol What a joke
The rooms were fine except for a bit of a stale smell and some pretty bad stains on the carpet. The staff were friendly enough and the breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. So why such a poor rating? The first issue was the exercise room which must have been put in just for show as it was almost useless and poorly laid out. Mold. Mildew. Dirty rooms. Was there for less than 30 minutes and we had to leave. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life.
Check in was quick and easy. Front desk lady was polite. Rooms not the best. First room had no ac but they quickly moved us to another one. Second room sink was backed up and it had vomit come up from drains. Ceiling in bathroom and bedroom had mold. Floor had hair balls and Bobby pins. Thankful the bed was clean.
Front Desk Jay was warm, welcoming, and just awkward enough to be charming. The man radiates “I have jumper cables in my trunk” energy. Check-in was smooth, like he’d been waiting for me all week. Room Clean-ish. Someone’s leftover ramen cups in a drawer — because nothing says “hospitality” like a stranger’s trash. Coffee machine missing a vital piece, so I steeped my coffee pod like it was chamomile. Minisplit kept things cool but tapped like a bored woodpecker.
