I waited months to sit in an office for 10 minutes and have Dr Hussain tell me I don't have the sleep apnea I was diagnosed with previously. Then she told me to schedule an at-home sleep study. Afterward, I find out that waste of a visit has to be charged as a hospital visit (since the office is in a hospital building, cause that makes sense) and my insurance refuses to cover it as an office visit. I wish I would've listened to the reviews before I came here, a waste of time and money.
The Doctors here are Great! HOWEVER! THE Phone staff are VERY! RUDE! and DISRESPECTFUL ! quality of care from the Doctors are 5 STAR Great care Great response when messaged even very personable HOWEVER the RUDENESS AND Smart A$$ comments I have been dealing with for the last month from the phone staff make me have to go look elsewhere for a sleep doctor.
I had a followup visit here with Dr. Jon Perviz Durrani. I found he was very thorough in going over my records and was willing to answer any of my questions and give me recommendations for a new CPAP. He explained that do to chip supply issues it will be several weeks before the unit will arrive. I found the staff friendly and helpful as well. My only complaint is that it isn't clear where in the hospital they are located. FYI they are on the basement level.
Dr Hussein looked at cpap data I told her i was not sleeping during time of data that I was having problems staying and falling asleep. She said no everything looks fine you eat less. She ran out so I went to the front desk I was handed a prescription for supplies but they never looked at my machine Her short report says she addressed all these things, did nothing in reality but lie and push me out quickly.
I was charged $250 to have a 30 minute conversation with Dr. Hussain (after waiting 2 hours post appointment time) , even though this falls within my Tier1 physician network. Also, Dr. Hussain was quite unpleasant and just made me feel bad about trying to fix my sleep apnea. No one is up front about the charges.
