This place was a joke! And it has been months since I have heard from them. I had a appointment with my doctor just days after the study for the results. I still haven't heard from them about the cpap machine. But lots of bills(after insurance about $400.) Out of pocket for 5 minute instructions on take home equipment.
I had a Sleep Study done 25 years ago. It appears they are using the EXACT SAME equipment from 25 years ago! Not kidding! At least 50 electrodes attached to various parts of your body. The dozen or so they placed on my head were unbelieveably irritating!! And they expect me to sleep like this??? Really??? I didn't sleep at all!! This place was a complete waste of time and money!! And I still have untreated Sleep Apnea with no relief in sight. Gee thanks!!!
While the study experience was as expected, the technician could not have been colder. She was efficient at her job but I never saw a smile. No small talk, frustration at my questions, not even any effort at trying to calm my nerves. I try to remember that we are all going through our own battles. Maybe she is having major issues in her personal life but a professional (medical) setting is not the place to take that out on others.
I could not go to sleep. Read a whole book no bathroom in the room. Not your fault but I had a bad experience.
Yup. Good experience. I was nervous. Logically I understood there was nothing to be worried about as its just some wires and some sleep, but I was nervous nevertheless. I'm so tired and foggy brained I can't remember her name, but the nurse on shift (from dec 28 to 29th, 7pm to 6am) was very nice and pleasant and professional. I appreciate waking up to the same familiar face, especially when you're already in a strange environment. I'm high-anxiety, but didn't feel overwhelmed at all.
