Slatehouse Group/Home365 are crooked, and I would advise anyone to stay away from them. I have never had my security deposit withheld in my many years of renting. They withheld my entire security deposit for “property damage to the paint.” The townhome was cleaned out thoroughly, carpets were cleaned, holes in walls were patched, and the townhome was in pristine condition!!! I don't know what is happening with this company. As others have said, they used to do a good job. In fact, 5 years ago when I was introduced to them (I'm a Realtor) by a mutual client, they were top-notch. Over the years their service has slipped, as has been the experience of some of my clients and confirmed by numerous other property owners in chats at the settlement table. They used to be great! Now they remind you of a relative that ignores you and only shows up for money. Hell no! I would not recommend them. Steer clear and go with someone else. I just fell thru my rental porch and cut my foot!
