Food is good except the string beans... The service is horrible. Came here during my vacation. I was so disappointed. The clientele were loud, cursing, and falling over drunk. The server came by cleaned off the table so that we can sit down but she never reset the table. We waited another 10 min. Then I asked if she was going to finish. A woman came over and put a table cloth on it and nobody came back. I walked up inquired again. A server finally came. It took 15min to get drinks and another 45 min to get food. Slades has a delicious menu selection. Their catfish nuggets, fried chicken, mac and cheese, collards, steak tips and more are mouth watering. Also, they have great cocktails and wonderful waitresses. Finally, they have music and live entertainment. Eat, mingle, drink and dance the night away.
Reminds me of home, good soulfood with plenty of drinks and good music.
Good soul food...But slightly changed up the seasoning for the chicken ..still good I just like the original way better
I haven't been in awhile,but when I use to on Thursday nights I had a wonderful time! The music was great, the food was great and friendly crowd! Never any type of problem. I do give Slades Bar-Grill a 5-star Excellence Rating!! See you again soon!!!!
Celebrated my birthday here a few years ago & really enjoyed myself, my friends (Norma, Gaynelle, & Ronnie) & The owner... He gave me a special performance that I will forever remember... Thanks to ALL✌✌✌
Slade's is a multi functional venue with yummy food, great drinks, amazing DJs, live bands, dancing and comedy!! Why not stop in!? It's the black answer to the show Cheers!
