I decided early afternoon that I wanted a professional haircut. I was introduced to this salon a few years ago and I'll make my appearance once in a blue moon, usually impromptu. But can I say, I get excited to see a last minute opening with Eryk. I accidentally booked a wash and dry (the customer is not always right, lol). Asked Eryk if he had time to do a cut as well. Came here right before my wedding. I got a facial and an aromatherapy massage. Both girls were very nice but had a horrible experience in both rooms. In the facial room, I told the girl I had rosacea and she proceeded to use hot steam. She dermaplaned my face although I told her I had sensitive skin. To top it off, she waxed my upper lip without asking me. At the time I had my eyes closed and had no idea what she put on my face until she told me. I was gifted a VIP head spa for my birthday. This was my first time at SLO Spa and Salon. The space is very nice and relaxing and I very much enjoyed sipping a tea in my spa robe waiting for the foot soak. Azriel, the head spa master was very personable and super knowledgeable regarding hair and scalp treatments. I very much appreciated his energy and will definitely go back and see him again. Azriel is the best! He takes the time to talk to you about your hair and what would work best. I am extremely nervous when it comes to haircuts and he put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Azriel!
