got a few quotes for a roof replacement and these were the ones who actually explained things instead of rushing me. the free inspection was legit, no pressure. someone recommended them since they do a lot of work around Oak Park. crew showed early, tore off the old shingles and had it buttoned up inside 2 days. gutters got swapped too and they line up nice. place looks way better from the street and no leaks after the last storm

There was a slow leak above the dining room that nobody else could pinpoint. SL Roofing came out, did the free inspection, and found cracked flashing around the chimney plus a few lifted shingles from the last windstorm. They laid out for me what needed to happen and gave me the option to patch or replace the whole section. We went with the bigger fix since the roof was already aging. Two days of work and the ceiling stain has stayed dry through three storms.
New shingle roof looks great. Full tear off and replacement done in two days. They also redid the soffit on the back side which was rotted. Pricing was straightforward
