I recommend NOT renting here. I had a move-out walk-through appointment and when I showed up, management met me outside and said they had already done the walk-through. When I asked what they found, they said everything looked great and the apartment was very clean. That was the last I heard from The Monterra staff. Two weeks after I moved out, I randomly decided to log into my account and there is an overdue charge of $200+. I never received a bill or any notification of this charge. Don't rent from these scumbags. They will squeeze every last penny out of you and illegally charge you for damages. The apartment wasn't even clean when I moved in but I am sure they charged the previous tenants for cleaning as that seems to be a common theme.

The apartment itself looks great. However, when maintenance issues arise they are handled very poorly. I moved in December of last year and had heating issues. Our unit would run for hours and it would not warm up a single degree. Due to Vegas winters being mild, we were able to suffer through it with copious amounts of blankets. Now, summer is rolling through and I am having cooling issues. I placed a work order a month ago and have been placing numerous work orders ever since. Beware of renting any properties this company manages or owns. Your final bill will always have a charge that they will not explain, They claim it to be damages when with 100% certainty there was no damage to a brand new apartment, the final walk through the office had verified the apartment was as new as it was when we moved in .They will extort you by telling you to either pay it or be taken to collection . They will not answer there phone knowing they have to face angry customers they are ripping off --

I live at Tradition at Kierland. Alliance took over management of this property late last year. My lease is up at the end of May, however, due to health problems, I have asked to be released one month early so that I can move into complex where my son lives so he can be of assistance to me when it is required. I will be 83 years old soon. I have offered to pay the rent for the last month of May but want to be able to vacate at the end of April. I moved into Sonoran Vista two months ago. As a single mom, I was abundantly clear that I needed to understand the TOTAL monthly costs. My second month's rent was $100 more than what I was quoted (which was supposed to have included rent, taxes and fees). That is a lot of money and now I will spend the next 10 months stressed and scrambling. This lack of cost transparency is unprofessional and dishonest and creates incredible strain for people. Please don't do it to anyone else. Be up front about all the costs.

This company bought out Cityscape at Lakeshore apartments in Tempe this summer. Until that happened, I loved living here, recommended it to everyone, and had a great relationship with the office staff. However, everything has gone downhill since they took over. The upkeep of the property is poor - weeds, broken lights, etc. Bills have contained errors which the office staff haven't been able to explain. Office hours are extremely inconsistent, and staff often take 2 hour breaks in the middle of the day. Renewal rates were no... read more

This Company is the worst. Cityscape at lakshore Tempe AZ was just brought out by Alliance. There Management and Maintenance staff are horrible. I have had a ticket open for over a month and they still havent answered. I have made several attempts/call/emails to to get it taken care of but they refuse. The office staff is rude and they refuse to give your package without in ID. They also refuse let all the people that live there pick up there pacakges. They say you have to be 18 years of age to pick up a package. My son is o... read more

Please do not live here unless you want to deal with a series of apartment issues and management people who are unwilling to resolve issues for you. It is truly a nightmare to live in one of their properties and I wish I knew about how horrible they are before I decided to live in one of their properties.
