Clerk to check in had ZERO personality. While checking in, the door from the Airstream blew open and hit me in the back which of course hurt and the clerk found it hysterical. No apology. Room reeks of Fabuloso so we had to prop the door open. I see the Ecolab truck here, I’m sure you can get deodorizer from him. Take it from a retired hotel manager of 26 years. This is not acceptable.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Skylark and just returned home. We already miss it! The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown and very close to all the best bars, restaurants, and shopping. Every single staff member was so kind and accommodating. The room was immaculate and the pool was even better! The free breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chef was lovely. We’ll be returning soon and recommending the Skylark to all of our friends and family.
