Update 10/27: It’s been a full week since my last message and I still haven’t received any response from SkyHouse Orlando about the disputed charges for Apt 1812. I’ve called repeatedly and even contacted corporate—no one has called back, emailed, or provided any update. This level of silence is unacceptable. If these disputed payments are sent to collections, I will have no choice but to seek legal counsel. I lived in Apartment 1812 for a year and my move-out has been a nightmare. I notified the office well in advance that I would not renew—left calls, visited in person, and asked to sign whatever was needed. Despite that, they hit me with a $1,500 “insufficient notice” fee and a $250 “paint restoration” charge even though there was no wall or paint damage in my unit. Their own system went down in August and they never removed the wrongful late notice fee from my account. I’m still fighting these fees and waiting on a response.... read more

Let me be the first to say that living at SkyHouse did not come without some initial issues that needed to be resolved. But as someone who has lived now in probably 10 different rental situations over the past decade or so all apartment complexes come with some issues and this has been by far one of my best experiences if not the best experience I have had living somewhere.
