Renter beware, absolutely terrible company. They are unethical and should not be in business. They over charged us (double charged rent) $1600 and would not give it back until move out. At move out, they returned our money to the other tenant & parent (who was a co signer). We received 1/3 of the over charge put on on our credit card and they told us its our problem and now a civil case. They also do unannounced checks on air filters & smoke detector batteries and charged $75 for replacement cost in the middle of the lease. ... read more

Skyhawk rentals will allow any vendor or maintenance worker to enter your home unnannounced. I received a 50 dollar fee for having a dirty air filter. I use three month filters, and was told after that I can only use 1 month filters. I had not signed a lease with them at the time the fine was posted, but with the ridiculous clauses on the lease I shouldn't have.
