this is my first time ever skydiving in life crossed off the bucket list shout out to Damo for making it very simple and crazy at the same time. what an experience!!!
We booked a skydive for 12 noon. The day of the flight, we received a first message telling us to come at 11 a.m. because not enough people on the 12 p.m. flight. Then another message saying to come even earlier, at 10:30 a.m. because someone withdrew. Once again we accept. After a 20-minutes drive we arrive at the car park and we receive a call to tell us that we will finally have to come at 11:30 am. In the end we waited 2h hours before being taken care of. What an amazing experience with Skydive Cairns! At check-in, Kirsten was so welcoming, calm, and helpful – exactly what you need to ease the nerves before jumping. My tandem instructor Dylan was the absolute best! This was my second skydive, and he somehow made it even more fun than the first. Professional, friendly, and a total legend – I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take me out of a perfectly good airplane and into freefall!
