Had the prime rib sandwich for lunch which is the best I have ever had. Went back for dinner and the New York strip was wonderfully seasoned and melted in your mouth. Great bartenders and cute show. Highly recommend!
What a classic little joint with amazing history! Loved it here, went twice on our five day stay in Nashville and will return again. Who knows...you may just encounter the spirit of Skull himself. 😮
Food and drink served in proper atmosphere , great seating , fantastic jazz . If your visiting Nashville don’t miss this piece of American music history.

A disappointing meal for us. We were celebrating our anniversary and were looking forward to the evening and entertainment. I ordered the steak which was so salty i couldn't eat it. The few bites I did have made me feel unwell and we had to call our night short and head home. Attentive service, nice atmosphere which means I give this a fair rating otherwise if i was rating the food, it would have been 1 star.

Environment was quaint and certainly reminiscent of a speakeasy in years past. Food was great and served in a very timely manner. Filet and scallops for main courses (as well as crawfish risotto and tuna tartare) were some of the best, comparable to what we've had in top restaurants in cities like Vegas and New Orleans. Lemon cheesecake was just enough sweet and tart to end the meal on a lighter note. Wine list was lack luster but ok (which would be my only complaint.)
