Have been to Skull Creek in the past. I checked with our server and he assured me Gluten Free was no problem..well it was a big PROBLEM. I ordered broiled seafood trio, after starting to eat dessert. I could not finish my meal. Continued with Celiac reaction all evening. I called (same evening) and spoke with Food Manager. He told me about all the checks they do...well there was a problem in the kitchen and I paid dearly. Skull Creek failed.

LOVED how they cooked the fish we caught. Our ordered food was phenomenal! The only thing was we had to send our soups back to be heated. Then they were perfect.

I had a good time, but was disappointed that there was no live music. I called before hand and was told that there would be. Upon arrival asked a waitress and she said there would be at 6. No live music. Also an employee came over and told us that we couldn't put wood in the fire pit because the pile had to last all winter. Really?

We live in Bluffton and are frequent visitors to Skull Creek Boathouse! Food is always great, love the dive bar food. Service is fantastic, evening views are absolutely amazing!!! Always a wonderful time there, which is why we keep going back!!!!
