The wait was extremely long 120 minutes. Luckily we passed the time watching an alligator and the sunset. We had 3 children with us and it was hard to keep them occupied for that length of time. The food was good but the wait was too long.

Had yet another stellar experience here tonight. My wife and I have come to this establishment every time that we return to Hilton Head for over six years. Yes, there may be a wait. That's what you can expect for the quality of food and the amazing atmosphere provided by the picturesque backdrop. This has been, and will continue to be, our "date night" spot on the island. Drinks outside the restaurant were awesome. Setting was great and food was terrific. Our waiter was also very attentive and quick. Wait time was 90 minutes on a Thursday is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. Also, informed them I was there for my birthday and didn't even get a happy birthday let alone a discount towards anything.

Our waiter did not pay attention to us taking our orders and had to ask several times what we wanted to drink. They forgot to bring a side for my daughter's meal and my wife couldn't eat her food because it tasted so bad. I have a dairy allergy and asked the waiter what I could and couldn't have. After ordering something without dairy, they brought me fish with a creamy butter sauce on it. We arrived at 4:00 pm for a late lunch/early dinner. We were seated right away and our server was very attentive! Our party of 4 ordered stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp, crab cakes and a fried sampler platter. Everyone enjoyed their meal. When we left, there was a line formed to get in! We loved the food and the casual atmosphere. We also made purchases at the gift shop directly across from the restaurant. I only gave it a 4 star rating because the sides offered with the entrees were very average.

1.5 hr wait but they have things for you to do outside while you do! And the guy playing music outside was EXCEPTIONAL. Service was great even though they were slam packed and the food came out quickly. Having snow cones for kids (mom of a 3 yr old) outside was a great idea.

We called ahead and were told 1.5 hour wait. Got there and were seated within 20 minutes. We didn't know they were closing in less than an hour. The staff never said a word and never rushed us, very gracious. Food was excellent, loved the outside seating. Wish there was live music, being that it was Monday night I guess that is expecting a lot. Will go back!
