3 years ago, as I was purchasing my home, the previous owner had Skips install a dry well for my water softener discharge. After only a few years the dry well failed and had to be replaced. The dry well failed because Skips did not adhere to the code regulations as outlined by the CT DOH and installed the dry well directly on top of a large, flat section of bedrock that is nearly 6 x 6 feet wide.
