Skips used to be great - I’m not sure if they are understaffed or over encumbered but you have to double check on refills to actually receive them. Refill requests never go through. Wait times for prescriptions are long. I’m just let down as of recent. It’s unfortunate.

I telephoned Skips Pharmacy regarding a chemotherapy drug that has been prescribed by our veterinarian, as I was/am very concerned about some of the side effects. Lisa, the pharmacist, was most helpful and informative. She explained succiently the pros and known cons of the drug so that my husband and I can make the best decision for our much loved little maltese. 1. Phone contact told me I hit the wrong button on the menu! harrumph! 2. Dog has inflamed gastro tract. No hurry to get meds. Two-day wait. Precise time given to pick up prescription. 3. Arrived at precise time--cannot find prescription and not ready. 4. Finally found prescription but prescription described as capsules, not liquid (susp!) as ordered and prescribed. Paid $86.00. I have been using this compounding pharmacy for many years. There has not been one time when anyone was anything but kind and helpful. I have had many opportunities to switch pharmacies to someplace closer, but I will not do that. If I forget to fill my LDN prescription and need it quickly… They help me out the best they can Every time.. Thank you everyone at Skips Pharmacy For making my life a little bit easier.
