worth a stop if you're on Ridge Rd in Greece Skips always has some special deal going. I always make a point to stop in when I'm on that side of town. Quality is reliable, and prices are great - especially on their weekly specials.
A deal is not always a good deal I bought a package deal and for the advertised 25 lbs. of meat much of it was bones. There was a tiny amount on the beef ribs and a lot of gristle. The ground beef was very fatty. The bacon was mostly fat. I purchased pork ribs, had some meat but for over $100 I would have liked to have better meat. I purchase most of my meat at Wegmans but wanted to try Skips again after a very disappointing buy a few years ago. At Wegmans the meat is always fresh, fits my budget.
