Very fresh! Skipper's has the freshest seafood around. Most items are fried but the batter is light and tasty. The portions are generous and they offer frequent coupons in the local publications, often for free peach cobbler. Yum!

Great Seafood Specializing in oversized fresh fish sandwiches. Featuring the most fresh seafood around. Everything is homemade and the prices are very reasonable and portions are large.
Skipper's Fish Fry & Market delivers a great Sandwich Only 2 reviews.... come on people! I stopped by here several months ago and had a great fish sandwich. The filet was big enough for two sandwiches and it was good ! The outside are could use some work....especially those nasty picnic tables!
If only the seafood was this good at the beach – Can't pass without stopping, I always get the fish sandwich and can hardly finish it. Great family enviroment.
Overall a good experience – A friend spoke highly of Skipper's so we gave it try. His recommendation was to try the Ipswich Clams. A bit of a disappointment, tasted ok but too rubbery. The clam strips however were the best I've had in the south. Got them as part of the combination platter. The accompanying fries and chicken tenders were very good. The hush puppies and cole slaw were also very good. Service was fine. No question that we'll be returning soon.

Average at best – I am a huge seafood lover. I've driven by Skipper's so many times and never tried it. Today was the day. With my free cobbler coupon in hand I ordered the Large Shrimp Onion platter (over $10.00) and a child's baby shrimp for my daughter. I was really pleased they had a drive thru. You call ahead first and then pull up and your order is ready. It took less than 10 minutes. But the good stops there. I got 12 large fried shrimp - good amount but they didn't TASTE like shrimp.
