Phoenix Salon & Spa is UNSAFE this spa has unlicensed people working here so i would stay clear!!!! You should always ask if the person who is working on you is licensed.I would use another spa there is a nice one in Prattville

Great stylist Linda Echols is the owner and is an expert in color and does a great job on cuts too. She is very hard to get an appointment with though, and several times I've had to wait quite a while after getting shampooed to get in her chair.The massage therapist is pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend him for a pre-natal massage. It was side lying and he didn't get deep enough in my muscles. But I like a deep massage too, so if you just want a relaxing one, he'd be great.

Gift area has cute items. I've not used the salon part of the Phoenix, however, I have stopped in to look at their gift items while going to the Sports Palace for lunch. They have very cute gifts, and a very good selection.

Hair service was a BIG mess up! I went in for several different services. I went in to get my hair trimmed and ended up with 4 inches missing and chopped up uneven layers (most upsetting). Upon further inspection, I was missing half an eyebrow and the other one looked like it hadn't been touched. It was very rushed and what upsets me the most is I told the stylist that I just wanted a trim and liked how long my hair was getting. I don't know what she was thinking. Highly recommend spa services! The Phoenix Spa was wonderful! I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the moment I walked in the staff gave me lots of personal attention; they made sure I had a special and relaxing experience. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. I will definitley be going back!

Choose Stylist Wisely I've had some great haircuts at this salon several years ago and recently decided to try my luck with a new stylist. It was disappointing that the results looked amateurish at best but the dealbreaker was when the stylist added a charge for a "future" follow up service in order to pocket my money for doing absolutely nothing. Don't Use Spa Services!!!!!!!!! ( Massage Review) Please do not spend $65 for a massage here. It was the biggest mistake ever. This place is SO unprofessional it is laughable. When I went for my massage, being new to this area I thought it would be ok, wrong. I could hear the FULL conversations of the people in the next room the WHOLE time. These people were laughing so loud people OUTSIDE the spa could hear them! This was not just a few times; this was during the whole hour. f I love Phoenix Salon and Spa. i have had both spa and salon services. I had a facial and massage, both service providers were professional and very talented. I also got my highlights done by the owner, i did have to wait 30 mins before she got to me but it was well worth it. She did a excelligent job and i wouldn't recommand going anywhere else.
