Great services The prices at Skin Sense are pretty average and so are some of the services, but overall one of the nicer places to go in the Triangle for spa services. The atmosphere is lovely, and the products offered are very nice. Not the best massage in the Triangle, but this location is pretty convenient, so it will certainly do when in need.
Have patience when calling Briercreek location....you'll need it. The front desk staff at Briercreek really take a lot of patience to deal with on the phone. I called 2 weeks ago to check a gift card balance and got put on hold 3 times and the same voice answered twice asking if I wanted to book an appt....no I told you, I called to check a gift card balance. I was told I wasn't in the computer... I hung up the 4th time I was put on hold. Then I called to book an appointment and the woman said she'd call me back in 20 minute... read more
OK service, kind of pricey I had a pregnancy massage here, as well. I enjoyed the experience, but it was not fantastic enough to bring me back to pay their prices. I think their spa is nice, and the environment is pretty and relaxing, but I think the price you pay for their services is a bit high compared to the value.
Skin Sense I went to Skin Sense and enjoyed the massage. The personnel at the front desk and massage therapist were friendly. I thought the price was competitive.
Caught unprepared I called ahead to make an appointment for a spray tan at this location - since it's actually quite convenient being in Brier Creek. I showed up and it's quite nice on the inside. I checked in and was led back to a very tranquil waiting area while they got the spray tan machine ready. I went in...and the machine didn't work. Great for a pregnancy massage! I got a pregnancy massage here when I was pregnant with my 2 year old. They were WONDERFUL! I was able to relax for the first time in a long time, and they made me feel very welcome. Highly suggest them to anyone, whether it be a pregnancy massage, or one of their many other services they provide!
My husband bought a couples package at the North Raleigh location. We scheduled massage, muditation and pedicures. Our massages were mediocre, when we were escorted to the mud room we were given no guidance on use and were left in a freezing cold room with a shower head that did not even work. The room had not been cleaned and there were remnants of mud from prior use. When we move on to pedicures there was only one person to do both and we were on a very tight schedule so had to cancel that service. When asking for a refund... read more
Pretty good experience – I have been to a lot of spas, very high end ones in South Florida and Europe, so my expectations are pretty high. Overall the experience was great. I got the Milk and Honey Body Treatment and the results were wonderful. My esthetician was great and so professional. I felt totally comfortable wearing nothing but a plastic thong and towel. Bad beyond my imagination! – This spa is not even nice, I have been there a couple of times when I desperately needed a service. The past time I was there they charged my credit card for services they did not provide and will not return my call about it. STAY AWAY, there are too many nice facilities in Raleigh to waste your time here!
