Hi - this is a recommendation for your clinic and staff when dealing with a minority group- kindly reframe from making comments related to appearance regardless of the situation. Your professional services becomes questionable when dealing with patients that are already being treated or under stressful situations. I was so happy today when I went. The nurse made me feel comfortable and reception was lovely! Last year that wasn’t the case. When you come in for a screening it can cause anxiety so it’s nice to have friendly faces! With appreciation :)
You choose the level of examination. Be it specific to a single location on your body, or an entire body scan, and pay accordingly. So unless you are an extremely flexible contortionist, handy with a mirror, and skilled at recognizing and diagnosing misshapen moles correctly - I would consider using their services.
I recently made use of this service when a young acquaintance passed away from melanoma/never having had my moles checked out before. I have had a number of colleagues and friends interested in the service, when I asked how I felt afterwards, my biggest takeaway was disappointed. My appointment was done in about twenty minutes. Had I not been the one to talk, I doubt my nurse would have said little, to anything, at all.
