FIRST AND LAST VISIT. I had called on Thursday and ordered the 20 piece chicken meal the coupon specified for pickup on Saturday. I paid ahead. When I.arrived Saturday, the woman did not know anything about my order. She had to investigate it's legitimacy. Thankfully, a woman in the back verified it. Just because you call it, a Polish dinner does not make it authentic polish cuisine. I'm 3rd generation polish american and I can say with absolute certainty that this is not polish food. No kielbasa no gołąbki, no Kolaczki No sauerkraut and sausage. No goulash. Are you guys even trying? Super nice folks invited me in and served me before the restaurant opened. Food looks awesome
Considering I’m Polish, I have always went to the Skillet for my takeout needs when it comes to family holidays/tailgates primarily for sausage. Everyone in my family loves the bite-size sausages that they make. Yes I’m sure it’s a heck of a lot more money to have the Skillet make it versus me making it, but I do not eat sausage — so how in the heck would I know if it’s good or bad if I’m making it? I would not. 🤣 The pickup line moves fast. Don’t let the line scare you for pick up. Just make sure you order ahead of time.
