My experience with Skillbuilders Rehab was frustrating and felt like a poor use of time and money ($700). I was referred here for cognitive and road tests after a stroke. I have only left-sided weakness and no cognitive impairments. Before I even began any testing, the Occupational Therapist told me I would need adaptive equipment (a steering knob), driving lessons, and a reassessment—based solely on my physical presentation. Time for an update... 5 years later and I had surgery on my other shoulder :( After my excellent experience with J.R. for my left shoulder I went back for post surgery therapy for my right shoulder. I have to stop falling !!! His care and attention to detail has been invaluable. I am making headway but still have a long way to go before I regain full use of the arm. The receptionist is very helpful, patient and welcoming. The physiotherapist Barb Forest is very thorough with her care, providing me verbal guidance as well as physical worksheets and information after I mentioned I may have difficulty remembering. When I was confused about certain processes, they helped me clear them up and find solutions quickly. I had a great experience with them.
Brent Turner is a ROCKSTAR, and should be General Manager.
