Wow..can't wait to return! – A friend referred us to Skewers as unique dining spot. From the first 5 seconds we walked in the door, we were greeted warmly by a professional host. She offered to seat us at the bar (small, but clean) as she would get a table ready for us. We were immediately offered service by another server, who was behind the bar. Skewers Skewers Mediterranean Grille is the place to go for some truely different. Other Mediterranean restaurants have opened and closed in recent years. However, Skewers' good food and prices have allowed them to weather the storm.
I have only been here twice but it's stil one of my favorite places. The food is great, the atmosphere is warm & personal but yet vibrant enough to be beachside. On saturday nights they have belly dancing & I always think that's fun to watch. They have outside patios, which could work out for your advantage if its crowded inside. Defintely a mediterannean restaurant I would recommend.
Very good lebanese food/romantic atmosphere – Very good lebanese food. There was an extensive menu, including many options for vegetarians. The specials included fresh fish. The service was good, and on a Monday night it was 75% full. The atmosphere is more suited for romance or friends, but if you have children that are well-behaved they may be ok. Wonderful – If you've never had middle eastern cuisine, this is a great place to try it out. The food is always up to its fine standards and the prices are reasonable. The garlic chicken skewers with rice is highly recommended.
