Referred by my daughter’s pediatrician for an antithrombin deficiency. We saw Dr. Nelson for a “consultation” and received NO education or helpful information. She kept saying “you look disappointed” when really I was confused. In the same breath she said there is nothing to do, but that she would have to look up the literature. Google searches have given me more information than the hematologist and this “consultation” was a complete waste of time.

My son has been seen here for the past 8 years. The center was completely remodeled (or more accurately, newly created) and it’s so comforting and makes the process of treatments so much easier. They truly care about their patients but also the entire family. I would have had a much harder time with my son’s diagnosis and ongoing treatments if it wasn’t for their caring and helpful staff. I highly recommend!

Totally blown off and dismissed. Sent to other specialists who found abnormalities, and requested biopsys but they refused to see or follow up on other providers requests. Then told don't worry about it anymore. Then called CPS on us for seeking medical care? We were told to by our PCP!
