The Skagit Valley Food Co-op is so much more than a grocery store! I especially enjoy the section of the store with soaps, lotions, tinctures, and oils. Be sure to go upstairs to the mercantile for a wonderful selection of kitchen items, toys, books, bags, cards, buttons: you name it, you will find it! And the benefits of being a member have been awesome.

Business response:

Thanks for recommending us! Hope to see you soon!

Won't shop here anymore. Today there was an employee bragging about attending a weekend party "with 100 people squished in a tiny backyard. It was so cool!" This is exactly the kind of event county health officials have warned against as they are driving the spike in cases of COVID-19. Totally irresponsible of this guy who then comes to work where he can spread the virus to us. If they don't care, then I don't care to spend my $$ there.

Business response:

Jane, we are so sorry to hear this. Thanks for sharing. We do care and are disappointed by this behavior. We'll be discussing it with our employees, and we will also continue to do what we can as an organization to minimize risk in the store with mask wearing, social distancing, sanitization, and monitoring of employee health.

Only the MEAT DEPT & all of the people there! They are always so helpful and kind. NOT the cashier I encountered yesterday, older gal named Dale who was EXTREMELY RUDE to me. She told me to bag my own groceries and proceeded to spray some sort of sanitizer where I had stood by the grocery belt and then also where I was standing. She threw my receipt down and never greeted me, never said thank you and was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. It really is disheartening that a cashier would act this way and ruin all of t... read more

This is my favorite store not only for its variety of organic and clean food, but the environment itself. Every employee has been very understand, accepting, and helpful of my 4 year old son who has autism and sensory processing disorder. Even when he's having a rough day I know I can get my shopping done because I'm always going to be taken care of. Forever my favorite place❤
