Jim's wife here - got to give 5 stars to the urgent care at Smokey Point. I arrived right at 8am, was in a room within 10 minutes, had 3 tests (EKG, X Ray and blood draw) and an informative visit from the doctor and was out of there by 9:10am. Everyone was friendly and acknowledged my presence. At least today was a five star visit!

I was told when trying to make a first time appointment for my kids that no doctor within their network will sign the Opt Out paperwork for vaccination for any reasons. We went elsewhere.

Incompetence at its finest. Needed a signature from a Primary Care Physician to clear or diagnose me for anxiety in order to be in compliance with a DOT physical I had at Concentra in Everett. The receptionist and Dr. Navraj turned me away, saying the doctor has no DOT certifications himself and thus wouldn't sign my papers, even though they do not need DOT certifications to do that, because it will be the DOT doctor at Concentra, not at Skagit who issues the DOT medical card. I love this clinic.. Dr. Vellinga for one. I had Reverse Shoulder Surgery, done on both shoulders. Dr.Vellinga is a excellent doctor on every level. He listens, he feels what you are going through. He cares. You feel safe in his hands. Allways positive energy. Peter Frye is another that is outstanding. Both make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Both my shoulders have been done in the last 9 months. I could not be happier. Highly recommend Skagit Regional Clinic, Smokey Point ☺️

In Oct, Constantly had to beg for pain meds for sciatica, he ignored my email requests for over 5 months and made me wait until follow up visit in Feb to give me Seven day prescription for codeine 30mg. When I expressed my constant having to beg for pain meds, when I needed a refill, he told me to find another PCP that communication had broke down between us and he couldn't be an effective member of my care team.
