Dr. sheu is an amazing doctor, so caring and “always making sure, his patients are healing good” takes time to explain.
When you have an appointment 6 months out it is easy to forget. If you do forget, first time in 20 years, you get a nasty letter threatening you with denial of future access to medical help from some unnamed person within the clinic. River bend does not have a reminder service like many other medical facilities do. Since Skagit Regional Health has let me down so many times I now pay out of pocket for a doctor, medication and lab tests. The staff are always friendly. The wait times are a lot less than the er and all my experiences with the doctors and nurses are positive. They are very knowledgeable and treat their patients with respect and a sense of humanity. I only wish that there was a clinic in sedro woolley.
Triaged quickly. Nurse Justin RN was very pleasant and efficient. ARNP Laura Cork was professional,explained the injury & treatment clearly. Follow-up exercises were given in a clearly written handout and appropriate to the injury. Tech (sorry, didn't get his name) applied the splint and explained adjustments in a clear manner. The expected time from registration through triage and to the back was estimated to be 60 minutes. I believe the entire visit took under 60 minutes to discharge.
