I had Skabelund roofing replace my roof almost two years ago. It was absolutely the worst experience with any contractor I have experienced. First, the crew I got had no idea what they were doing. They removed two layers of shingles, one asphalt and the orignal cedar shakes. Instead of removing all the nails and/or pounding them flush they installed the decking so that it was resting on top of the the nails still sticking out. This made for a uneven appearance. Skabelund Roofing did our gutters. They leak, there are drips everywhere. I went from 3 down spouts to 6 because you can do corners. Even though there were corners before. I am now dealing with damaged soffiting. And who knows how much it will cost to fix and replace. And this is after sending pictures and several people coming out to look at it, and doing nothing.
