Went in to S & J Custom Jewelers today (my birthday) to get a new Citizens watch (gift from hubby) sized that was too big. Within minutes the owner (Stewart, I think) fit it to my wrist exactly as I wanted, knowing what to check to make sure the fit was perfect. He was couteous, knowledgeable, professional with a kind smile. When I asked the charge he smiled and said "normally it's $10 but it's your birthday". Beautiful store down on nye beach where I go for my jewelry needs. I’ve had Rings restored from being burned, and reshaped from being squished. Have had multiple broken chain clasps fixed and rewelded. Had some of my custom pieces rewelded. Latest project was to have my crab pendant bail resized so it could fit my larger chain and he had it match my other custom pendant so their identical bails. This is my go to jewelry shop for my jewelry needs, highly recommend!
Stewart was amazing. Zero pressure, very knowledgeable. Even to his Rolex off for me too look at. He builds relationships, not a transaction.
