Comfortable family restaurant serves up grilled steaks, seafood and a mammoth salad bar. – In Short Established in California in 1958, this all-American chain is decked out with stone accents, dark woods, and classic photography that hearkens back to the restaurant's beginnings. The original menu featured four steak options; today, guests choose from steaks, burgers and sandwiches, St. Louis-style pork ribs, and signature "sizzlin' platters" of garlic-herb chicken or grilled seafood. The famous salad bar offers more than 90 ... read more

Poor Service!!! – We went in for casual eating. The service staff looked overworked and did not pay attention to the details of their jobs. We received cold food and the waitress did not check up on us. We ate the food anyways, and probably would have been great if it were still hot. To add insult to injury, I ordered the "all you can eat Shrimp". Well, I did not get to eat all I wanted because they were not coming by to check on us. The fries were cold.... When I explained my concern to the waitress, all I got were tears an... read more
Great value family restaurant – This is a great value restaurant for families and has quite a good salad/buffet bar as well as friendly service but the strange thing is that while I have noted it is commonly patronized by a large amount of senior citizens the menu items are exceptionally high in salt - very bad for high b pressure/low salt diets. Even though I have yet to fall into this category I do not like salty food and found the sirloin tips, in a mushroom sauce, to be very salty. I recommend this restaurant modify the ... read more
Salad bar is only thing worth eating – As a chain, Sizzler is consistent in serving mediocre food. Their salad bar is good, lots of choices and soup. The tacos are awful but the chicken wings are decent. The steaks are a lot smaller than they used to be and most of the entree sizes are smaller too (malibu chicken). I used to like their baked potatoes but I think I can bake a potatoe better than they can, the skin's not crispy anymore. The fried shrimp used to be crunchy, but lackluster now. But what do you expect for the pri... read more
Not the classiest place in town. – Wow, I don't think I have read so much anger and hatred about a restauraunt in my life! Sizzler is okay, and at times it is a little slow, but overall it is decent. The Salad Bar is great, sometimes the steaks are good, and usually the service is acceptable. It just depends on where you go. In Idaho they are way better than Utah. I agree the comercials are a little corney and laughable.
Poor service in Orem! – I used to be a big fan of Sizzler restauarants. Unfortunately I have had too many bad experiences at the Orem location. I went there with my Wife one evening and was served fries that were as stiff and cold as cardboard. When I asked for some fresher fries, I got the same fries back, only this time they had been reheated in a microwave. The employees were very loud in the kitchen area as well. We heard all! The restaurant did not seem to be run in a very professional manor.
