a very happy customer, Sixpenny keep it up! recently i had Sixpenny clean my air duct system and chimney, their price was so reasonable, and techs were great and polite. I highly recommend them to anyone. the receptionist was nice and told me that they do a lot of work for the military (so this gave me more confidence about scheduling) I am a happy customer!

Good Chimney Cleaning Service I found Sixpenny Chimney Sweep from an advertisement (and coupon) in Valupak. I called them about cleaning out my dryer vent and removing a bird's nest in there. They answered the telephone call on the first ring, the receptionist was polite and helpful, and told me that they could have someone at the house the next business day. One unhappy customer These folks were working on a neighbor's house, so I had them do my chimney and crown. They ground out a lot of mortar but didn't replace all of it. I tried to get them to come back and finish the job, to no avail. Now, 2+ years later, the chimney looks much worse than before they came. I called trying to get this fixed under the warranty, but it's not covered (there is no firm written warranty). RecommendedTech did a good job getting our dryer vent clean and was efficient. However I would not give them 5 stars considering they gave us a 4 hour window that they would be onsite and still managed to be almost 1.5 hrs late. Also the tech wore his shoe covers outside while walking through mud which defeats the purpose of wearing shoe covers and we got the duty of cleaning up behind him after he left...
Sixpenny did great! I called yesterday, they showed up today within the timeframe agreed upon. The technician was courteous (wore boot covers), friendly and knowledgeable of his trade. He worked efficiently and cleaned up a big mess from my dryer vent. Caryl, one of the owners, was working the phone. She was pleasant to speak with, seemed genuinely concerned with my circumstance and eager to help. Their price was very reasonable and I plan to use them regularly.
We’ve hired this company for several different jobs. Air duct cleaning, gutter cleaning, home cleaning, chimney sweep and soon they’ll be fixing our front patio/brickwork. Honest, hardworking, fair pricing. Will continue to use them again!
